Our new virtual web appliance is the latest addition to our web appliance family. It's easy to deploy and manage, and has exactly the same features as our hardware appliances. You also get all the cost savings and flexibility that a virtual appliance offers.Fresh look

Load balancing
The introduction in this release of the capability to configure a Management Appliance as a load balancer lets you use a Management Appliance to distribute load between any Web Appliances that are joined to it. If you're using a Management Appliance, you can configure load balancing on the page.
Sophos Endpoint Protection
Sophos Endpoint Protection uses the new Sophos LiveConnect service to link endpoints back to your Appliance when they leave the corporate network. Connected Endpoints can be configured to receive policy updates and to send web usage reporting data back to your Appliance as it happens, so you maintain visibility, control and protection at all times.
Use of this functionality requires a Sophos Endpoint license. If you already use Sophos Endpoint Protection you will need to upgrade your Enterprise Console and installed Endpoints to version 10.

- There is a line on the dashboard to display the status of endpoint web control:
Clicking on the Connected Endpoints line on the dashboard leads to a new Endpoint status page giving details of all connected endpoints.
- Web usage data from connected endpoints can now be included in reports, with the exception of those in the Traffic & Performance group.
